The Crumpet Tea Room & Restaurants have been in NWA for over 30 years. They were owned for 16 years by Jackie & Mackie Chesnutt, but for the last 16 years and currently, are owned by Charles and Daneen Parish.
Charles and Daneen grew up in Greenwood, Arkansas. Both attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. They travel throughout the U.S. and globally, taking in new flavors and experiences to bring back to Northwest Arkansas.
The Parish’s took over The Crumpet Tea Room in 2002. Daneen managed both locations for 15 years, until the hard decision was made to close the Bentonville location at the end of 2017. Daneen enjoys creating new items from salad dressings and salads to sandwiches, soups, quiches and desserts. Daneen also enjoys talking to students at local schools about what it takes to own your own business and the art of English Afternoon Tea.
Through The Crumpet, Charles and Daneen have been able to help organizations like Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Ronald McDonald House, Havenwood, Decision Point, Salvation Army, local schools, local churches, animal shelters, youth organizations and many other groups in Rogers and Bentonville.
You can find the restaurant today at 5212 Village Parkway, Ste 12, Rogers, AR, where Daneen carries on The Crumpet Tea Room & Restaurant tradition to this day.
